Will my PNG's transparency be preserved?
Yes. This tool hosts your PNG byte-for-byte, with no re-encoding, so the alpha channel and any transparency are kept exactly as-is. The hosted link serves the same file you dropped in.
Should I host a PNG or convert to WebP?
PNG is lossless and supports transparency, which makes it ideal for logos, icons, diagrams, and UI screenshots with sharp edges. WebP produces smaller files at similar quality and is great for the web — but PNG has the widest compatibility. For photos, a JPG is usually the smaller choice.
Does hosting a PNG compress or change it?
